"World Oceans Day reminds
every one of the major role the oceans have in everyday life. They are
the lungs of our Planet and a major source of food and medicine and a
critical part of the biosphere." The UN site also tells us that the oceans that cover more than 70% of our precious planet are home to most of the earth's biodiversity and produce at least 50% of the planet’s oxygen. Today, maybe we could do a bit of aquatic exploration for ourselves and go deep sea diving with some of the ocean-going turtles. It's OK if you'd prefer to stay on dry land with the tortoises!
