Weatherperson's Day may only really be observed in the US, commemorating the birth of John Jeffries in 1744 (poss. 1745) who became one of the US's first weather observers, and is to honour meteorologists, storm spotters and forecasters who track the weather....but with so many of us here frequently pointing out how inaccurate our local forecasts seem to be, it's probably truer to FNB style to have a bit of fun with the topic of weather and meteorologists!!
