Welcome to Far Horizons Friday - it's Star trek First Contact Day!

April 5, 2024

Good morganite, friends! A very happy Friday to you all. It's time to grab your cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy some friendly conversation with one another. πŸ˜€

April 5, 2063 is the date celebrated in the Star Trek universe as the day Zefram Cochrane launches the Phoenix, humankind's first engine capable of achieving warp speed, and makes contact with an alien race. πŸ––πŸ€ For us today, it's a chance to share anything related to the 1996 movie....or anything else Trek-related you'd like to show us! While we're contemplating earthling/alien interactions, maybe we could have a humourous look at other moments of contact with aliens that may have been the first (and last!) of a kind, themselves!! πŸ™€πŸ‘½πŸ€–πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Ί There's no obligation to post images. The only thing we hope you do is have fun.
