This week, our Wings Over Wednesday theme is dedicated to Bat Appreciation Day!! There may still be quite a lot of stigma attached to bats, and a lot of folklore as well as more modern myths woven around them....but it's also important to recognise their role in Nature as pollinators who help plants, to remember to admire them for being the only mammal capable of controlled flight, and for being beautiful in their own way.....regardless of how butt bat-ugly some of them may appear to us!! 🦇🌸🧛♂️🙀😉😺 There's no obligation to post images.
