Good morganite, friends! A very happy Sunday to you all!! It's time to grab your cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy some friendly conversation with one another. 😀
Wetlands are essential habitats for a multitude of species worldwide, playing an irreplaceable role in the renewal of life in uncountable ways. From the official International Wetlands Day website, wetlands are considered to be: "Land areas that are saturated or flooded with water either permanently or seasonally". 'Inland wetlands' include marshes, lakes, river, floodplains, peatlands and swamps; 'Coastal wetlands' are saltwater marshes, estuaries, mangroves, lagoons and coral reefs, and 'human-made wetlands' cover fishponds, rice paddies and salt pans.
So, maybe today we could have a look at some of the places and those whose survival depends on the different types of wetlands (which includes us!), and enjoy viewing some on the remarkable wetland landscapes and sample the often amazing species that inhabit them. either permanently or seasonally. 🦩🐢🦛🦆🦦🐻🐸🦢🦫🐊🌾🪷🏞️🌉😺 There's no obligation to post images.
