This Thursday, it's time to take a look at the amazing flying mammals that have intrigued....and also terrified many folk for centuries!! Their uniqueness as the only mammal species with the ability to achieve true flight makes them fascinating, but their appearance and behaviour, including often preferring to live in dark and being active at night, have also inspired many a myth, legend or tall story!!
