The greater mouse-eared bat, seen here in Sussex, UK

Good morganite, friends. A very happy Friday to you all! It's time to grab your cup of tea or coffee and enjoy some friendly conversation with one another.

This week, Friday is going to fly by like a....bat?!! Yep, you read that right. A bat! Bats have always been welcome in FNB's belfry, and while some of them may be rather creepy-looking, others are kinda cute! They're all fascinating though, being the only mammals capable of genuine flight and having incomparable echo-location abilities, and have inspired all kinds of characters from historic myths to pop culture heroes. So let's see some leather-winged wonders, whether in the real world or in history, or even very batty humour! ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿฆ‡๐Ÿง›‍♂️๐Ÿ™€๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜บ There's no obligation to post images, the only thing we hope you do is have fun.
