Good morganite, friends! A very happy Saturday to you all. It's time to grab your cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy some friendly conversation with one another. 😃
This Saturday, everything is going to be jumbo-sized!! "The motivation for the first World Elephant Day was to draw attention to the plight of the majestic creatures to populations and cultures all over the world. Due to their pleasant and intelligent nature, the wold's largest land animals are loved worldwide. But, unfortunately, these magnificent creatures face multiple threats to their survival." (daysoftheyear.com) A large male African elephant can weigh up to 15000 pounds, with the Asian elephants being somewhat smaller, but all of these enormous endangered mammals are still highly intelligent and are capable of experiencing a wide range of emotions including joy and empathy. We can only hope that days like these do help create awareness and caring for the wonderful creatures that share our world. Now, let's celebrate the day in FNB style, with a stampede of awesome images and maybe even some elephant-themed humour!! 🐘🐘🐘 😺 There's no obligation to post images.
