Today celebrates the 'red planet' and turns our focus towards Mars, named for the Roman god of war! The fourth rock from the sun is the second smallest planet in the solar system at roughly half the size of the Earth, but has held a great deal of attraction for astronomers and amateur sky-watchers for centuries, and now also for modern explorers of space frontiers. So, whether you'd like to share a few facts about our rocky neighbour or some images from the rovers exploring its surface, or would just like to have a bit of fun with the theme is up to you, but it's time now to launch our Tuesday trip to Mars!! 🚀🔴👨‍🚀🪐✨😺 There's no obligation to post images.
