The world's oceans cover around 71% of the Earth's surface, produce an estimated half of the planet's oxygen, and contain around 1.35 billion cubic kilometres of water (324 million cubic miles)....so there's plenty of room for an amazing range of conditions, and for all the oceans' many kinds of creatures, from the beautiful to the bizarre, to live!!
